The tensions are continuing to grow on ABC’s “The Bachelor,” as the remaining women continue to build their relationship with Bachelor Ben Higgins.  Coming into the episode on February 15th, there were six women still with a chance to marry Ben.  They were Lauren, Jojo, Amanda, Becca, Caila, and Emily.

The episode, taking place in Ben’s hometown of Warsaw, Indiana, began with one-on-one dates between Ben and Lauren, then Ben and Jojo.  Ben and Lauren visited Ben’s old high school, and took a trip down memory lane.  Ben and Jojo visited Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.  These two women seem to be the two favorites going forward in the show.

As for the other women, there was a group date with Amanda, Becca, and Caila.  They took a ride with Ben on a boat, and Ben explained how there would be one woman of these three who would get a one-on-one date, and the others would get sent back to the house.  That woman was Amanda, the only woman on the show with kids.  

Next, there was a one-on-one between Ben and Emily.  They went to meet Ben’s parents, which Emily thought would be a giant step in her relationship with Ben.  As it turned out, she did not impress the Higgins parents, as they both claimed that Emily was “too young and not the best match” for their son, Ben.  An emotional Emily was later eliminated from the show.  

Finally, it was time for the rose ceremony.  There were five girls present, but Amanda had already received a rose from Ben on their date.  So there were three roses to be handed out, and one girl to be eliminated.  Without surprise, the first two roses were given to Lauren and Jojo, which left one rose for either Caila or Becca.  Through enormous anticipation, Ben called Caila’s name, and eliminated Becca from contention.  So, the four women left on “The Bachelor” are now Lauren, Jojo, Amanda, and Caila.  One can expect an intense next few weeks on the show, as Ben gets closer to finding his wife.
