Former Spartan Athletes Playing in College: Bryan Reimers

2014 graduate Bryan Reimers was a Lincoln Journal Star second team Super Stater his senior year.  During his senior year, Reimers led East with 27 catches for a total of 596 yards.   In 2014 Reimers walked on at Nebraska, and redshirted his freshman year.  Reimers was a part of the scout team and was a reserve receiver his freshman season.  Reimers climbed up the depth chart, and by his junior season he was able to make made some big plays for the Huskers.  The 6’5” wide receiver made his first career catch against the Oregon Ducks, a game-changing touchdown catch that gave the Huskers a 21-20 lead in the third quarter.  Reimers’ go ahead touchdown propelled Nebraska to a 35-32 win.   Reimers ended the season with 5 receptions for 75 yards, and he received a scholarship for the spring semester shortly after the conclusion of the season.
