Prom royalty voting has been going on for the past couple weeks and our votes finally came to a result on prom night.  Carly Bool is your homecoming queen and Micah Wilson is your homecoming king.  Carly was the favorite by most of the east population because she is such a sweet and cool girl, people were shocked when she didn’t win homecoming queen.  Micah was also nominated for homecoming king but was beat out by Miles Wilkins, Micah is loved by all for his humor, hard work in the classroom and in sports.

The music play at prom could’ve been a lot better, it would’ve made the night more memorable.  It was hard for a lot of people to dance to, there were a couple great songs.  When “Humble” by Kendrick Lamar came on, the crowd went crazy and there was actually a mosh pit in the middle.

The candidates for prom queen were Elise Matthes, Elyse Kohler, Olivia Johnson, Lacey Jessen, Carly Bool, and Alicia Zeng.  The candidates for prom king were Pete Ackerman, Hunter McPhail, Miles Wilkins, Micah Wilson, Jacob Schoening, and Noah Shane.  Prom night was full of lots of excitement but the highlight of night is always the prom court.
