My name is Kierstin Foote, I’m a senior and this is my second year on Oracle.  This year I will be the A&E Editor (arts and entertainment) as well as the Business Editor. I am super excited to be starting my senior year. Next year I will be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I’ll be majoring in something that has to do with Business and Journalism, which are both of my two passions combined.

I am very much a social person and love meeting new people as well as hearing new stories, so being involved in journalism and newspaper is perfect for me.  Something I really enjoyed last year was the variety of stories I was able to work on from sports, to A&E I loved getting to tell people’s stories about what makes them different. This year will also be my third year on cheer and second year on varsity, so you’ll most likely catch me in a cheer uniform a couple of times a week. Cheer keeps me very busy and involved with East athletics, being able to cheer on some of my best friends on the field or the court is one of my favorite things. I am also a very active person and I constantly need to be moving, in my free time you can find me working out or out on a run. Currently, I’m training for the 2017 Goodlife Halfsy half-marathon in October.
