On April 29, East’s Theatre Community celebrated both the actors and technicians of this year at their annual Theatre Banquet.  The night was themed Great Gatsby, 1920s era, and many attendees embraced this, dressing in their very best.  After eating, the night proceeded into a traditional award ceremony.

The award ceremony consisted of categories such as Best Actor, Best Actress, Technician of the Year, and Best Crew Members.  This led up to the induction of new International Thespian Society (ITS) members, who pledged to serve the theatre as best as they could for future years.

Afterwards the night proceeded to karaoke, dancing, and plenty of fun.  Hopeful farewells from seniors, and a send off from the directors.  This final theatre event, marks the end of a long, work filled year.
