First and foremost, Hi and welcome to the East high newspaper website! My name is Janessa Thompson-Pollard and I am Faces Editor of our Spartan newspaper, The Oracle, this year.  I am also a senior this year, so I look forward to writing and editing stories for my last year of high school. I have contributed to The Oracle for two years now and am very excited to start a new year of sharing stories.  I’m a lover of English, reading and animals! Whether they be hard hitting news stories or light hearted arts and entertainment stories, you’ll find me writing some type of story in The Oracle and Online.
