A recent trend of students at Lincoln East has been the game Clash Royale.  It’s the number 1 grossing game on the App Store.  It came out over a year ago, but now people are starting to catch onto it.  A lot of people played it last year but it died out when the school year ended.  Hopefully, that is not the case this year because it’s a really fun game when you have a large community of friends playing.

James Kettelhake has been a consistent “clasher” ever since the game came out, he is also now one of the best in the school.  He has 4000+ trophies which is 1500 more trophies than I have.  It’s taken about a year and a half to get to where James is at and it takes a lot of dedication.  He thinks of himself as “The Chief Pat of East.”  Chief Pat is the one of the most well known Clash Royale players in the world.

There was even a Clash of Clans club last year at East but it was not continued in the 2016-2017 school year.  It might be too late in the school year to try and get the club going again but the underclassmen hopefully can get it up and running next school year.  It brings people together with common interest and you can even recruit fellow spartans to join your clan.
