Hey there! My name is Gage Pohlmeier. I’m currently a senior at East, and this is my first year on the Oracle! I plan on going to college to study sports media or criminal justice, but I still don’t know where I’ll be attending school. I am a huge sports fan! So, if you need to talk with somebody, I’m your guy! My favorite athlete of all time is Kobe Bryant because I am a huge Lakers fan. All my favorite sports teams are inherited from my father. He likes the Tennessee Titans so I like the Titans as well. He likes the Lakers so I like the Lakers. He likes Nebraska so I like Nebraska, well, I’d like to think I wouldn’t need his help on that one. As an East student I’m currently involved in the drumline, and play the big ol’ bass drum. I’m 6’6 so naturally I play on the varsity basketball team. I got a nickname ‘Toby’ from The Office by my teammates a year ago on our trip to Chicago. Long story short, I beat one of my teammates in a 1v1 Call of Duty Quickscoping Tournament, he raged so hard he ran off to our hotel room and began screaming, ripping sheets off our beds, and started to build a fort in anger. He screamed at me “You’re Toby and I’m Michael from The Office. I’m your boss and nobody likes you!”. So, from then on I’ve been called Toby by not just by my teammates, but other people too! So if you ever come and talk tome you’re more than welcome to call me Toby! To conclude, I’m so excited to be on Oracle this year! I hope you will enjoy our works!
