The Lincoln East Music Department is currently preparing for the upcoming concert on Monday the 26th. This is the first chance of the year for the students to showcase their phenomenal talents. Groups performing include both the Freshmen and the Symphonic Orchestras, the Jazz Band, the East singers and a specially selected syndicate of students that make up what is called The Chamber Strings.

This concert will be the initial opportunity for The Chamber Strings to perform with other East ensembles. A unique aspect for this group is that they play without a conductor. Much concentration is required to ensure that the assorted parts all fit together perfectly.

All five groups have put in plenty of effort to perform to the best of their ability. Come to the East Auditorium at seven this Monday and support the Music Department!
