Over the last week, the nurse’s have been receiving very many cases of the cold.  Students who come in are having these common symptoms: runny noses, coughing, sneezing, and sore throats.  Jen Winterbour is one of the head nurse’s here at East and I asked her about the situation. “Yes we have been getting a lot of colds, and everybody is having the same symptoms, so if you wake up in the morning with a cough or a fever take some Tylenol and try your hardest to make it to school.”

 Jen would like to remind everyone to wash their hands and cover your mouth when sneezing and coughing.  Everybody should get a good night sleep, as fatigue can be a sign of sickness.
