2016 graduate Grace Barry was a two-sport athlete who now plays basketball for the University of Nebraska-Kearney.  As a senior, Barry led East to a Class A state basketball title.   She was named to the Class A all state team twice, and was the 2015 Spartans Most Inspiring Female Student-Athlete.  Coming off the bench, Barry currently averages over 3 points per game for the Lopers.  The Lopers have had decisive victories over Grace University and Midland University.  She has contributed strong performances, including 10 points and 6 of the teams 8 assists in a loss to Emporia State.  Barry posted a career high 14 points in a win against Washburn State.  Barry was named to the Dean’s list this past fall, and continues to be successful in the classroom.
