Collegebound: Wes Dreamer

After careful consideration, Lincoln East’s Wes Dreamer has committed to Northwest Missouri State. Dreamer sees his transition to East as a preparation for college life. NMSU is a smaller college with a beautiful campus he loves. He’s spoken with a lot of his new coaches, and his new teammates as well. One thing he liked about his new team is how dedicated to work they are. “They told me that they have no promises, that I would have to work for my spot, and I liked that.” Dreamer has definitely worked for his spot at East, scoring 377 points in only one season with the Spartans. He’s always dreamed of playing sports in college, and it seems that nothing will stand in his way of achieving that dream. NMSU’s style of play seemed to fit Dreamer’s perfectly, and he can’t wait to continue his academic and athletic career in college.
