As the students ride the high of Christmas and the New Year, we look forward to seeing what our friends come back to school with, after a time of great gift giving. Throughout the holiday season, lots of gifts were popular among the teenage and East High community, there were some gifts that stood out to us this year. This includes the Ugg’s Coquette slippers, Apple Airpod Max, and The Stanley cup.

As an Early 2000s trend, no one would have thought that these would come back so soon, but the Ugg Coquette Slippers have made a comeback, being one of the most popular gifts this holiday season. The slipper is equipped with a 17mm sheepskin insole, with Polyester binding or textile binding made from 100% recycled polyester fibers. The slipper currently comes in six colors, and is $120 on the UGG website.

“They are so soft and comfy,” Kate Ost, a freshman at Lincoln East said. “They are perfect for cold winter weather.”

Music is currently winning the teenage mind, as many teens have their headphones in 24/7. After these headphones took the market, Apple has been making millions. The Apple Airpod Max has active noise cancellation with transparency mode, along with audio that sounds like the music is surrounding you. To add on, the headphones are completely designed with an acoustic seal for many different head shapes, so listeners can fully engage in the sound. Even though there have been some negative characteristics in the reviews, such as the high price, and difficulty working with non-apple devices, the headphones are still getting good reviews.

“While the Apple AirPod Max is a great pair of headphones, with best in class active noise canceling and a good sound signature, it also has some annoying quirks that make it very obviously an Apple Product,” says the sound guys, from soundguys.com, “If you live in the Apple ecosystem and already love your AirPod Max’s, then the Airpods Max is more of the same, just in a pair of over ears.” Priced at $479, these headphones will be the perfect fit for anyone!

Most people strive to drink 100 ounces of water a day, with this water bottle, your goals will be met! The Stanley Cup is a stainless steel tumbler that comes in four sizes, 40, 30, 20, and 14 ounces. The cup is installed with a vacuum seal, where the liquid can stay hot for seven hours, cold for 11 hours, and two days iced.
