This is where you can apply to fill out the Google Form application to apply for The Oracle (2025-2026) School Year!

Interested in being a part of Lincoln East’s newspaper, The Oracle? Click this link here to apply to potentially be on the 2025-2026 staff! Interviews are due on February 14th, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

’25-’26 Application Form Link

The application process is that similar to the application process of a job. The application will be filled out. If decided to continue, we will ask you to set up a time for an in-person interview. The interview will be during 5th period, at your selected time. It will be conducted by our very own staff. Once the interview is concluded, we will send out the round of emails regarding your acceptance/denial to each applicant.

Emily Geldmeier, Advisor

Emily Geldmeier has been teaching at East for eight years, and has represented the Oracle for four. This year, she hopes to engage a larger audience in the Oracle within the student body and the community. Watching students grow and develop their craft as writers in order to meet the needs of East has been her absolute favorite thing to experience with the staff. She values the relationships she gets to build with returning and new students on staff each year. When she isn’t busy with school, she likes to read, bike with her husband and three young daughters, or go out to eat with her friends.
