Alayna Lewis is a junior at East, and it’s her first year on staff. At East Alayna is an asset on the girls’ swim team while also balancing being a member of We are Sparta as well as The Oracle. Outside of school, Alayna stays busy attending church, spending her time with friends, and youth group at Lincoln Berean, and baking. As an only child, Alayna spends her days with her parents and her two cats and two dogs. “What I lack in siblings, I make up for with pets,” Lewis said. This year on The Oracle, Alayna is excited to see what growth she can make in her writing as she improves her formatting and editing skills.
