Lily Abele is a sophomore at East and a first year on the Oracle. She has one twenty one year old sister who happened to be on the Oracle staff as well, and Lily herself is interested in writing news, opinion, and open-ended articles. She keeps herself busy in many things - coaching tennis as well as playing tennis for East, debate, hope squad, volleyball, french club, and the list goes on; you may have seen her around with all of her involvements! In her free time, Lily likes to read, write, participate in anything active, and spend time with family and friends. To give a more unique idea of Lily, when asked about her spirit animal, she said: “A pangolin, I like that animal because it is very basic, but it’s slightly different from other things and has very special traits.” We can’t wait to see what new and special things Lily comes up with for the Oracle this year!
