Lincoln East receiver Kaleb Brady extends for a catch against Bellevue East Thursday afternoon.

The Spartans are looking forward to a cross city matchup with with the North Star Navigators. East rebounded with a solid win last week over Bellevue East, but there are many improvements to be made. One point head coach John Gingery brought up was “turnovers and penalties will be an emphasis this week.” Turnovers and penalties have plagued the Spartans throughout this year, last week 4 turnovers were lost in the first half, as well as two holding calls that called back touchdowns. However this week the Spartans will be looking to get past the turnovers and penalties, and continue their defensive dominance, utilize the run game, and exploit the Gators. North Star will host Lincoln East, Thursday night at 7, the game will be played on Seacrest field.
