The Lincoln East Apollonaires dance at halftime of the East vs. North Platte game on October 9th. This was the Apollonaires final home football game of the season. They will virtually compete in regionals this winter.

The Apollonaires performed at halftime of the East vs. North Platte game on October 9th. They performed a jazz style routine, showcasing their diverse styles throughout the season, which have included hip hop, pom pom, and jazz routines.
Coach Sarah Hartman said the season has been “going wonderfully. The dancers are super talented. They’re working super hard. We’ve been able to keep practicing and we’ve made it through all of our home football games and it’s going really well.”
The October 9th performance and really all of the performances are not the same as previous years, as there is no student section there to cheer the girls on.
“And of course we miss the student section so much. They bring a really fun energy and they really hype the dancers,” said Coach Hartman.
One of the three dance captains, Alex Puls, said “The season has been going great! Our team is really strong this year and we’ve been working really hard to prepare for this season… I love all of the girls so much and our coaches are working so hard to make sure this year is great.”
The Apollonaires will be competing in regionals virtually this year and hopefully will be competing at nationals in Orlando, Florida and State in Grand Island in Spring of 2021 if they aren’t cancelled.
