My name is Madalynn Abele and this is my second year on Oracle staff! This year I am excited to test out new writing styles, as well as improve my design skills. At East, I am very involved in the vocal music department, whether in Express show choir, jazz choir, Singers, or just helping out. When I’m not at school, I can be found at church on our youth leadership team or on the Lutheran Youth of Nebraska committee. I also love spreading awareness on the importance of voting and community engagement, as well as advocating for gun reform through March for Our Lives, for which I am the Lincoln Chapter Lead and Membership Director! In the future, I plan on majoring in Strategic Communication, and I hope to work for Disney in advertising and public relations. I’m so excited to see what the Oracle can do this year!
