Hope Shortridge is a junior at Lincoln East. She has a twin brother and two pet dogs, Sam and Iris. Besides the Oracle, she takes part in orchestra, Key Club, and Hope Squad. Outside of school, she is involved with her church and is also a huge sports fan. This will be her second year on the Oracle; her favorite things about being on staff are covering sports events, expanding her portfolio, and building connections with people in East’s community.

The Lincoln East Baseball team ended a 46-year drought by capturing the state baseball title on Friday May 19th, 2023 at UNOs Tal Anderson Field.
